Children who live with violence are impacted by that violence--whether they were physically abused or not. HH helps them understand that violence is not their fault. They help children know what they can do should they be in danger and help them understand and express their feelings. Families can choose to get services, except when a child is referred by the school for skipping school. The services include help with things like talking to a counselor, group activities, case management, and finding other programs for support.

Kids and families can get help from the Family Help program if a child is thinking about running away, has already run away, isn’t following the rules at home, is skipping school, or if the child is at risk of these problems.
