Other Family Assistance ServicesSCOOP is a group for seniors aged 55 and up. The group offers a variety of classes and events. These offerings reach members physically and socially. They also reach members intellectually and spiritually. Please call or visit the website for more information.
Services Includes:
Blind or visually impaired veterans who wish to be more independent may apply for a guide dog. Veterans live and learn on campus and then receive follow-up support. The dog, equipment and instruction are all free of charge.
Other veterans may benefit from a Veteran Service Dog. Dogs help those with PTSD to regain confidence and heal faster.
Family Therapy Dogs visit military hospitals. They spread cheer and encouragement which help the wounded heal from their injuries.
