The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Inc. provides Transitional Living. This programs offers 9 safe and affordable transitional housing cottage. Stay is available for up to 2 years for survivors of domestic violence. Please call or visit website for more information.
This Program lasts for 12 months and provides the ex-offender with a safe residence. It gives him the opportunity to get a job. It helps him to re-enter into society while learning to live a productive life and contribute to the community.

This service is made possible by a partnership between the Crisis Center and AAA Auto Club South. It is located on the ticketing level at Tampa International Airport. The airport booth is near the Spirit Airlines desk and the USO office. It is staffed by volunteers who help travelers in crisis. Help is available seven days a week.

This Care Center provides end-of-life care. It focuses on the physical and social care of each patient, as well as the spiritual and emotional care. There are services for family members as well. The Care Center is there for those who can no longer live in their home. They have 16 beds and all the comfort of home, along with full hospice services. Tri-County Human Services, Inc. provides the Highlands County Outpatient Clinic. They offer adult/adolescent services.

Each client will work with their own clinical specialist. Together they will create a treatment plan tailored to the individual. Length of stays in outpatient services range from three to nine months. The services provided b Tri-County are covered by many health insurance plans.
