A Place for Grace

They are a Christ-centered non-profit ministry. They provide food. Doors are open to, but not limited to, the low-income, the homeless, and/or seniors in need of clothes, food, and hygiene items.

Some services are Community Outreach Center's House of Prayer, GED Program, Recovery Program/Referrals, Meal Program, and Emergency Relief.

Academy of Leaders After-School Program - Grace Place

Grace Place provides after-school programs. These programs offer educational services during and after school and summer hours. Services are provided at no cost to children and their families. They have programs for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

Programs include:

  • Homework help and remedial tutoring
  • Personal enrichment activities (i.e., physical activities, wellness, arts)
  • Project-based learning
  • Reading and math skills labs
  • Nutritious dinner and snack

Adult Case Management-Operation PAR

This agency is for families whose children are at risk. They may be removed from the home or have already been removed due to parental substance abuse. It also targets substance abusing pregnant women or mothers and individuals who frequently use Operation Par services. Services are also provided to males who have custody of their children and are at risk for losing custody due to their substance abuse. Clients receive assessments, case management, referrals, group counseling, urine drug screening and substance abuse education. They receive health screenings. They can get TB and HIV testing. They can receive parenting education. They can get substance abuse education.

This group offers a variety of Adult Services. These services are for mental and behavioral health. They provide treatment and support. The help is tailored to the needs of each adult.
