Teen ServicesThe community center offers the Nurturing Family (Crianza con Cariño) program. The program happens twice a year. It is aimed at Hispanic families. It is done primarily in Spanish. There are 12 sessions, one night a week. The program helps families gain skills that increase their unity. They are given dinner and transportation.

Services include group, individual and family counseling. They offer substance abuse and mental health treatments. Services are offered on an outpatient basis. This group offers a diabetes management program. It is for children and adolescents with very severe behavioral problems. They also have diabetic health concerns. This program teaches them how to take control of their illness. It provides individual and group teaching. It also provides help with diet and exercise programs. The Agency for Persons with Disabilities helps people with developmental disabilities. The group works with local organizations and private providers to support those being helped.

Students within the Dixie County school district have the option of attending virtual classes online. Students in grades 6-12 may be full or part-time. They may also be home education students or private school students. Driver Education and Personal & Family Finance will be offered through the Virtual School this summer. These courses are open to all students in 9th thru 11th grade. If you would like to enroll for either course, please sign up in Guidance.
