Diabetes Management Program - Devereux Florida

This group offers a diabetes management program. It is for children and adolescents with very severe behavioral problems. They also have diabetic health concerns. This program teaches them how to take control of their illness. It provides individual and group teaching. It also provides help with diet and exercise programs. Dixie County School District - VIrtual High School

Students within the Dixie County school district have the option of attending virtual classes online. Students in grades 6-12 may be full or part-time. They may also be home education students or private school students. Driver Education and Personal & Family Finance will be offered through the Virtual School this summer. These courses are open to all students in 9th thru 11th grade. If you would like to enroll for either course, please sign up in Guidance.

Eating Disorder Groups- National Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness

Emergency Shelter & Residential Services - Arnette House, Inc.

This group offers emergency shelter for youth between the ages of 10 and 17. Their house is open to eligible kids 24/7. They give kids daily programs to support positive behavior. They also offer counseling and teach kids life skills. They help kids avoid substance abuse. They offer case management and help kids reunite with their families. They are also connected to medical care. Kids get to do arts, crafts, and music. They also have access to outdoor recreation.
