Family Assistance ServicesSunrise runs the Solutions Thrift Store. People can donate gently used items for resale. Clients can get vouchers to shop for clothing and household items. Proceeds support Sunrise services. You may call 351.521.3000 to schedule a furniture pick up.

Sunrise has two full time legal advocates. They can help clients with issues related to court proceedings. They can help with orders of protection, court support and attorney referrals.

CARD helps by sharing lists of resources. This list is personalized to the client’s area and insurance. Consultations can be done over the phone, over email, or video chat. They can also meet in the community or in your home. This group works with people of all ages. All services provided are short term. This resource center is for families and people caring for a loved one with dementia. They can provide you with skills and support. They have a wide range of services. Please call or go to the website to learn more.
Services and Programs Available:
This is a group home for girls ages 13 to 18. They are placed here by DCF because of abuse or neglect at home. Some girls are also placed by their parents due to stressful family situations. The program focuses on helping the girls learn independent living skills, such as education, job skills, money management, and problem solving. They also receive individual therapy and group therapy from licensed therapists. Please visit the website to learn more.
Residents and other adults attend the Day Program. They take classes in computer skills, home economics, small animal care and gardening. They learn arts and crafts, physical education, and academics. Also, a woodworking shop has been built and is a source of employment to our students.

The Angelus consists of 5 group homes. They house severely handicapped persons who are not able to care for themselves. There is room for 40 residents. All residents have have physical challenges.
These thrift stores are staffed by volunteers. Proceeds are used to maintain and support Hospice House and patients. Pick up and delivery service is available. They accept donations every day during business hours.
