National Family Caregiver Support Program-ACL

This agency gives help to persons sixty or older. The goal of this program is to ease the emotional, physical, and financial hardships of continual care.

Services:
Transportation
Material resources
Assistance in gaining access to services
Individual counseling
Support groups and caregiver training
Respite care
Supplemental services, including housing improvement, chore, provision of medical supplies and services
Legal assistance for caregivers, grandparents or older individuals who are caregivers for relatives.

PACE Day Program - Pace Center for Girls, Inc.

Pace Center runs a year-round day program for girls. Teachers help middle and high school students with education. Counselors help with support, life skills training, and career prep. They offer help at home, as well as at schools and within the local community. These services are tailored for each girl and the program is free. Salvation Army - Pasco County Corps - Domestic Violence Outreach Center

This shelter provides counseling for people affected by domestic violence, case management, and help speaking up for victims. Volunteers assist with court papers and can go with victims to court. The shelter also offers safety plans, 911 cell phones, and information about other services. Clients can get emergency food and clothes. They can volunteer and receive job training. The shelter can help them move to a new home. There are support groups for women and children.

Youth Crisis Shelters - Youth & Family Alternatives

This agency runs several youth crisis shelters. They provide residential group care. The help is for youth between the ages of 10 and 17. These youth are runaways, homeless, or have been kicked or locked out by their parents or guardians. They may need short-term respite or crisis placement. They may also need emergency shelter due to abuse or neglect. There is no cost to families.
