This program provides individualized training for visually impaired children ages birth to five years. It helps them to prepare for entering the public school system. It also helps parents with development techniques. A lending library of toys and materials is available. It is free to clients.

This YMCA offers a variety of programs for youth at two Pasco locations. They have an after-school program called Success After School. Transportation is provided. They offer group swim lessons. This agency helps developmentally delayed clients past the age of 22. Their goal is to promote independence so they can function within the community. Clients learn basic academics and can get computer training. They learn skills by going out into the community in small groups. They may go to the mall, library, grocery store or nursing home for hands-on learning and volunteer opportunities. They meet five days a week to reinforce everyday living skills.
