This group offers an educational alternative for troubled boys. It is a residential program. The program uses the waterfront as a therapeutic and educational tool. Each boy is given the mental, physical, and spiritual strength to succeed in life. The boys learn responsibility while living and working on a boat. Safe Place is a place where youth ages 10-17 can go to get help. There are over 300 Safe Place sites in Pinellas and Manatee counties. Safe Place services are available 24/7.

Programs and Services:
This is a place for school age kids. The center offers before and after school care with transportation to five surrounding schools. They have athletic sports leagues during the year (football and basketball). They also offer a summer day camp for ages 5 to 13.

This shelter offers domestic violence counseling, case management and victim advocacy. Volunteers offer injunction assistance and can accompany victims as they go through the court process. Also available are safety planning, 911 cell phones, information and referrals. Clients can get emergency food and clothing. They can volunteer and get professional training. They can get help moving to a new home. There are support groups for women and children.

The Workers Program is for single men and women who may stay up to 30 days. Participants must have a steady job or be working day labor. Many clients transition into the Job Merit Program. Please contact for more information.
The ARC is a six-month residential substance abuse program for men. The Center houses up to 104 mostly indigent men at no cost to them. They receive meals and safe housing in a stable environment. They get group therapy, guidance and skilled spiritual counseling. They also learn trades such as furniture refinishing, appliance and computer repair. They refurbish donated items which are then sold at one of the SA thrift stores.
