Boley Centers - Safe Havens

Provides individuals who have been homeless, have a mental illness and often a co-occurring substance abuse disorder as well, with a safe place to live. Staff build relationships and encourage residents to accept treatment and obtain medical care. Once residents are ready for mainstream services, they may choose to enter permanent housing and treatment programs. Contact for more information.

Bridge Transitional Living - Anchorage Children's Home

The Bridge Transitional Living program serves up to 6 youth with housing and 14 youth in non-residential services. It empowers these 16- to 22-year-old youths to become independent and fully contributing members of their communities. This work is done through an 18-month program. During this time, they will continue or complete their education. They will work to obtain employment. They will also develop essential life skills. CARC - Advocates for Citizens with Disabilities, Inc. - Client Services

CARC – Advocates for Citizens provides Adult Day Training. The following services and activities are available to support each individual and to help them achieve their goals:

  • Adult Basic Education provided by the Columbia County School Board
  • Arts and crafts
  • Assistance with personal care activities is provided on a one-to-one basis in the individual’s own home or family home or while individual is engaged in a community activity
  • Community activities and field trips
  • Outdoor sports
  • Personal Care Assistance
  • Social activities such as parties and dances
  • Specialized training in the activities of daily living, adaptive and social skills, and self-advocacy
  • Vocational training and paid work through the manufacture and sale of various products, retail work, and lawn maintenance (examples of assistance are meal preparation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and other self care activities)
