The community center offers the Nurturing Family (Crianza con Cariño) program. The program is offered twice a year. And is aimed at Hispanic families. It is done primarily in Spanish. The county health department runs the Dr. Edward F. Zapert Dental Clinic. It is also known as The Molar Express. The train themed facility provides dental services in a child friendly atmosphere. Services are available for Medicaid-eligible Florida residents. The care is from birth to age 20. All patients 17 and under must be supervised by a guardian at all times. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. It is closed on holidays.
